Report about the Open Karelia network promo tour organized by the ENPI project “Euregio Karelia: Museum Hypertext” that was organized on December 8-12 and covered all museum-partners. This visit resulted in a number of new discussions, ideas of follow up projects and presentation of Open Karelia museum system to the wide auditoria. A number of publications were produced as a result of the tour: Link1, Link2, Link3, Link4.

CIMO has approved and provides funding for organization of the cross-border intensive course on “Design and development of advanced LBS solutions on top of Geo2Tag Open Source Platform” that will be implemented within scope of FIRST Programme in Telecommunications 2014-2015, coordinated by Tampere University of Technology. The course will be held in April 2015 for 25 best students, which will be selected in 6 member universities of the FIRST consortia.
